And I wonder when she texts me, she gets the same butterflies I do. And when she says she misses me, will it be for an hour or for a lifetime. And I think about how happy she makes me, and how complicated things are. And how life deals you cards when you aren’t prepared and at the worst of times. And I wonder what he thinks when he see’s her looking at me. And I wonder what he feels to see her touch me in that affectionate way that she no longer does to him. And I know that he stays with her because she is the most god damned beautiful girl in the whole world.
